Bring the family and join us for a Fall Campout at Camp Talking Rock. This should an ideal time to view the beautiful fall colors in North Georgia.
We will cook and eat dinner as a pack Saturday evening. Each family will be responsible for their own breakfast on Sunday.
We will have games and activities for the boys and a short Scout service on Sunday morning.
A restroom and running water are available on site.
Scouts should wear their Class B uniform (pack t-shirt) or a Scout appropriate shirt to the campout and Sunday service.
While many of you have football and baseball games to attend, you can also make a weekend by visiting the Georgia Apple Festival in Ellijay or Amicalola Falls.
What to Bring
Tent, Sleeping Gear, Appropriate clothing (it may be cool in the evening and morning), Food for breakfast, and BSA Medical Forms.
Directions
6600 Mt. Pisgah Road - Take I-575 North through Jasper to mile marker 12. Turn left at the Hwy. 136 Exit. Go 500 ft and turn right at the dead end, then immediately bear right onto Old Highway 5. Go approximately 2.3 miles and turn left onto County Line Road. Go 1 mile and turn right. The entrance will be on the left - look for the yellow pack banner.
